Cancer Support Program

The Cancer Support Program at Molly’s House provides a true wraparound model of care. Our four fully sponsored guest rooms are offered free of charge to patients undergoing outpatient cancer treatment at nearby oncology centers.
 

Think of Molly’s House as the caring team outside the cancer center — a supportive, home-like environment where patients and families can rest, recover, and maintain strength throughout intensive treatment schedules.
 

Molly’s House is proudly listed on the American Cancer Society’s National Lodging Directory, helping fill the gap in Florida’s east coast for Hope Lodge–style cancer support lodging.

What We Provide

Free Accommodations

Our four Cancer Support Rooms are provided at no cost to patients in active cancer treatment. Guests stay in a safe, supportive, home-like environment that reduces financial and logistical barriers.

 

Travel Assistance

We help patients access transportation programs including ACS Road to Recovery, Uber Health, and regional support programs. Molly’s House also provides supplemental funding for gaps in service.

 

Technical & Communication Support

We assist with telehealth setup, digital tools, online groceries, ride scheduling, and communication with loved ones or medical teams.

 

Meal & Food Assistance

We help provide nutritious food through partners, deliveries, and staff support. Molly’s House also provides supplemental food assistance as needed.

 

Eligibility

  • Must be in active cancer treatment at a local or regional oncology center
  • No income or mileage requirements
  • A caregiver may stay at no cost
  • Length of stay based on treatment plan (typically 4–8 weeks)
  • Guests must be independent in self-care or have a caregiver with them

 

  • My 19-year-old patient from Sebring needed months of treatment. He didn’t have the resources for housing, and he physically couldn’t drive back and forth for treatment. Molly’s House took so much stress off of the family and helped save a kid’s life.

Patients in active outpatient cancer treatment at a nearby medical facility (chemotherapy, radiation, infusion, etc.), subject to availability.

  Yes — caregivers are welcome and encouraged.
No, you do not need a formal referral to request a stay. When you complete our Request to Stay form, our team will contact the medical treatment representative you list—such as someone from Cleveland Clinic Martin North, Weissman Cancer Center, Stuart Oncology, Florida Cancer Specialists, or Treasure Coast Hematology & Oncology—to verify your treatment schedule and coordinate your lodging needs.
We offer donated meals when available and provide full kitchen access so guests can prepare their own food. For patients in our Cancer Support Program, Molly’s House provides additional healthy meal support—including fresh foods and nutrition-focused options, all made possible through community partners.
Yes. We help guests access reliable transportation programs including American Cancer Society Road to Recovery, Uber Health, and local/regional services. Our team can assist with scheduling rides to and from oncology appointments. For Cancer Support Program guests, Molly’s House can cover the cost of transportation to and from your medical treatments to ensure you can maintain your full care schedule without interruption.
Yes — we are within minutes of the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital.
